This is a four minutes and 19 secs video about biodiversity and why it is important
Biodiversity is the variety and variability of life on Earth. Biodiversity is typically a measure of variation at the genetic, species, and ecosystem levels. It is built into three intertwined features namely
Ecosystem diversity
Species diversity
Genetic diversity
The Amazon rainforest is the most biodiverse region of the earth because of its complex ecosystem and its mix with species.
For as dense as the rainforest, the food chain will not get harmed even if one of the species gets extinct but in the case of other food chains, the death of one can affect the entire chain.
Even humans can also get affected because of this if we don't stop our destructive practices.
