• This is a 3-minute video that tells about the importance of water.
• First of all there's a question asked here -
"If there was is so much water available in the sea, then why do we say that water is precious"?
Giving an answer to this question, it is said - "Though there is a lot of water on the earth's surface, most of this water is in oceans which is salty. So this water is not suitable for drinking, domestic, agricultural, and industrial purposes. Whereas water which can be utilized for this purpose is found in rivers, lakes, ponds, and underground. These water resources are called freshwater resources. They usually get replenished by rainfall.
• Remedies for water conservation
1) We must not waste water or pollute our lakes and rivers.
2) Perform Rainwater harvesting.
3) For agricultural purposes use a drip irrigation system.
