This is a 2 minute 20-second animated video on environmental degradation.

It focuses on the deterioration of the environment through the depletion of resources like air, water, and soil.

It is caused by an increase in the population of the people.

According to the United Nations environmental degradation is "Reduction of the capacity of the environment to meet social and ecological objectives." It is officially stated as one of the 10 biggest threats today.

The major reason for environmental degradation is the depletion of freshwater resources on earth as water transports nutrients and chemicals within the biosphere to all forms of life.
