• The 6-minute short film by Green World TV, uploaded by Animal Watch, is an eye-opener that realistically portrays how the Earth is in a very bad shape today.

• It is a lush green planet floating in space, in the middle of nothing. It is alive, it breathes, and it feels.

• It harbors oxygen-filled forests, deep oceans, icy ponds and hot arid deserts. It is home to a lush abundance of animals, birds and creatures who are totally dependent on it for their survival, just as the 7 billion population of human beings are.

• The video further goes on to talk about how human beings have contributed to the negative changes that have taken place on the earth. We have extracted the earth down to its very core, and we use its resources mercilessly for our own benefit.

• These actions have adversely affected plant and animal life, and have had a bad impact on the functioning of the ecosystem. And thus, the world will face a potential catastrophe in the near future.

• Since 1917, 40% of the animal and sea life have disappeared. At this rate, we will very soon face the world’s sixth mass extinction, And the future generations will have to cope up with it’s negative repercussions.

• The video, therefore, inspires all of us to work together, to save our Earth. It ends with a serious and thought-provoking note - “We still have a chance to improve, but if we miss it, the future will be grim for both animal and man."
