A 4-minute animated video introducing Laudato Si, a letter written by Pope Francis, asking us to protect the Earth our common home.
1. God has given us a beautiful and wonderful home with a fair share of supplies for everyone.
2. But today, because of our greed and inconsideration, there is a big wound formed on our home. We have been hurting it so much that looking at it from any angle, we can see a big bandage.
3. The biggest problem that the Earth is facing today is climate change because we are using non-renewable sources like fossil fuels which cause global warming. The Earth is being treated like it has unlimited resources and that's where we're wrong.
4. But we can change all that by taking care of our common home. The letter encourages simple and easy ways to join the action to care for the common home:
a. Live more simply
b. Turn off all electrical appliances and taps when not in use.
c. Limit the amount of waste we generate etc.
