Plastic: A Slippery Slope

The ocean has the power to feed a healthy meal to everyone forever. But now it is dying with plastic. Every minute 17.6 billion pounds of plastic is being dumped every year. Plastic is on the surface and on the seashore.

Every plastic is broken down into microplastic and it’s killing all animals, including us. So far, we have only witnessed 1/4 of the plastic that is to come this century. Recycling is just degrading, all of which chokes the poor animals.

There are throw-away plastic-free aisles in supermarkets and plastic-free restaurants and hotel rooms. Companies that are obtaining these methods are called ecocentric companies.

We can bring this problem to an end. If we start a movement, we can stop, we can control before it gets out of our hands. It’s high time now.
