This video is a 3-minute animated video that helps us understand plastic further.
Most people are aware of plastic and what it can do to us. Some do not know. So plastic is filling up every corner in the world.
In this video, we can reflect on the following:
• How much plastic is produced?
• How harmful it is?
• Alternative methods.
It is mentioned that the amount of plastic in US landfills is equivalent to 37 million tons of coal.
Plastic can also seep into the soil, contaminating crops which are ultimately consumed. Plastic also makes its way to the ocean through pollution. A lot of plastic is dumped in the ocean. Most are non-degradable and can cause severe health issues and also death.
Some alternative methods instead of using plastic are:
•Use recyclable materials.
•Use biodegradable stuff.
•Use your own paper bags instead of plastic.
There is still hope to eliminate the threat- plastic.
