An 8-minutes video that explains how to save our planet.

We need to be able to achieve a sustainable existence of both nature and humans

The earth was created with resources that theoretically could have lasted us forever, but it wasn’t an easy life.
Humans challenged that reality. We learned how to tame the wild, get more from the environment.
And with that, our population and demands increased.

Problems were fixed instantly, which altered the Earth's surface.
We have altered the Earth so much, that we have entered a new phase of the Earth's life: The Anthropocene; the age of humans.

We now determine nature's survival.
And we are totally out of balance with nature, if balance is not restored, this age will be short-lived.

Our species has cleared 3 billion trees, cultivated most of their land and fishes.
Wildlife has reduced by 60%.

This is the single biggest problem we face. Without it, nature will not function smoothly.
Nature is unable to provide stable seasons and climates.

Can we fix this?

People are now having fewer children.
The only reason the population is increasing is that the life span has increased.
This gives us the opportunity for us to regain our balance.

How can we improve?

1. Energy
Replace fossil fuels with renewable resources. This not only slows the warming of the planet and acidification of the ocean, but it will lead to clean air for all of us.

2. Food
Upgrading to efficient food production and reducing our consumption of meat.
We will require less space for ourselves, leaving more space for grasslands, reducing deforestation.

3. Ocean
Working harder for a global network of no fish stones and a treaty of the use of international waters, which produces more fish for us all to eat.

4. Rewild
Encouraging nature wherever we don’t need; in the ocean, inland we no longer need and even cities.

These steps will help restore the balance of nature, providing a stable planet for us all to live in, with the ability to provide for all our needs.
