In this video, Greta speaks in the World Summit of the United Nations held in 2019. She said that she was watching them. Here the key points.
People are suffering and dying and the entire ecosystem is falling apart and the only words coming out of the world leaders are money are fairy tales of eternal economic growth.
Even though science has been proven, it is not enough because there is barely any change in the environment. Even if people come to her and tell her that they understand the urgency, she will not believe them because if they really understood and kept failing, then what's the point?
With advancement in technology, there is a drastic rise in CO2 and it is harming not just us, but also our future generations. After all of these happening, there’s still there is no action being taken. We need to wake up, the world needs to wake up. If there is no response, then our world will change and then we can do nothing about it.
