This is a 3:09 video of the past and present of Versova Beach, Mumbai.

5 years ago, Versova Beach was the ideal type of any dumpster. Filled with all kinds of trash. In this condition, even wildlife couldn't prosper. But all that changed because of one man, Afroz Shah, a lawyer in Mumbai.

He launched a massive volunteer project in 2015 to clean the beach with over a thousand volunteers of all ages and they removed over 5000 tons of litter.

This was declared as the world's largest clean up by the UN. So we should say that the project was a grand success.

And now, Olive Ridley turtle eggs are being hatched for the first time in 20 years because of the project. Described as a historical moment and fantastic news for Mumbai by Aforz himself while watching the baby turtles paddling in the sea.
